Use an input shaft from an old manual transmission or a wooden dowel. Wrap masking tape around the end of the wooden dowel to get the proper diameter. May 25, To remove: I used a modified clutch alignment plastic tool & grease gun. 1) Fill the bushing hole with grease, 2) insert the alignment tool, 3) wrap outside of it with a rag and 4) hammer. 5) Refill hole with grease & repeat until the hydraulic action of the compressed grease forces bushing from crank, or enough out, so that you can grab it with another tool to complete the removal.
