Nov 29, Trying to clear up the question of whether or not you can pull stumps with a subsoiler. The answer is yes, depending. If you are pulling hardwood stumps 6" o. Jul 09, I've had good luck with a TSC subsoiler (the yellow one) pulling up to 6" stumps as long as they don't have big tap roots. As DJ54 describes, cut the roots around the stump, then pull them out. Jul 12, I use my home made subsoiler to grub at roots. Little stumps of 6" or less I can get out easily enough. Last stump I grubbed out was probably inches. That took a lot of time and a fair bit of axe swinging and hand digging.

I could attach it to the Heavy Hitch on my three point hitch or on the front fork frame attached to the FEL arms. Mounted up Estimated Reading Time: 4 mins.

May 15, Here is an easy way to remove small stumps. Simply grab a sawzall with a long blade and cut it out. Sure beats digging it out with a pick and stumplopping.barg: subsoiler. Aug 17, Drill holes a few inches deep into the stump in numerous places, using the biggest, widest drill bit you have. The wider and deeper the holes, the better. Fill these holes first with water, then with a fertilizer high in nitrogen or stump-remover granules. Soak the ground all around the stumplopping.barg: subsoiler.
