Now it gets greased. Problem fixed: Bushing was worn. 1. Remove the 6 screws that hold the lower gear housing together.
2. Remove propeller shaft and gears. 3. Remove the driveshaft and the shift rod. 4. Use the bushing removal to tap out the old bushing. 5. Remove the old o-ring 6. Put in a new o-ring.
